How to Join the Team

Bobbie

In 2016, I enrolled in dog grooming school, 3 years after suffering a stroke. I realized I needed to find a more fulfilling way to spend my time. After graduating, I discovered I truly enjoyed grooming dogs and interacting with different pups. This inspired me to launch a mobile grooming business, providing at-home services so people wouldn't have to leave their homes. Over time, the business thrived. We now have 5 groomers and 5 trailers. I've cherished every moment spent with clients' dogs and watching the company expand. We appreciate you visiting our page and hope we can assist you and your dog.

Bryce

I've been passionate about animals since childhood. As a young kid, I aspired to become a pet groomer when I grew up. My sister introduced me to Wag-A-Long because her groomer was Bobbie. We met and the rest is history. I started training with Wag-A-Long at the beginning of 2022 and began working in my own trailer in July of that year. I've enjoyed spending time with dogs and all the rewarding aspects of being a groomer. I look forward to growing my clientele and getting to care for all your wonderful pups!

Brytani

I went to culinary school, and after working at a bakery for 8 years decided I needed a change of scenery. I've always loved animals and wanted to do something that involved them. I came across a dog grooming academy and it just clicked that this was what I wanted to do. I graduated from dog grooming academy in February of 2019 and continued working there before joining the Wag-A-Long family in March of 2020. I've loved every minute of it and can't wait to meet all your fur babies so I can take care of them like they were my own. 

Ty

I worked in restaurants and corporate dining for 16 years. I met my wife, Brytani, in culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in 2008. I’ve always had and loved dogs, but never considered working with them as a dog groomer. Brytani decided to make the move from bakeries and start grooming. After I saw how much she loved it, I decided I had to try it out. I was tired of office work and the kitchen life had gotten old. What could be better than hanging out with dogs all day, right? It was the right decision. I graduated from Unleashed Pet Grooming School in 2024 and can’t wait to meet you and your pups to give them the attention they deserve.

Marina

I have had a passion for animals since I was young. My grandmother started Wag-A-Long, which inspired me to participate. After buying my first horse in 2020, I became invested in dog grooming to provide for my horse and spend time working with animals. I began grooming out of my own personal trailer in 2022. I've enjoyed getting to work with all the dogs, spending time with clients, and constantly learning. This job has taught me so much. I'm very thankful that Wag-A-Long has given me such a great start towards my future. I love seeing my recurring clients and look forward to expanding my client base and meeting new dogs.

Shana

I worked as a registered nurse for two decades when my mother chose to learn dog grooming. She started Wag-A-Long and soon became busier than she could manage alone. I began assisting her part-time and eventually transitioned to working full time. I could not be more satisfied with how things have progressed, and I have cherished spending time with all the dogs. I am now striving to transition to grooming and boarding cats. I have always been especially fond of cats, although I have found joy in my time with dogs. I hope we can assist your dogs through Wag-A-Long or cats through my new sister business, Whisker Perfect.
